A landmark moment as the ship moves towards completion, the vessel was floated from the dry-dock and moved to the fitting-out berth to begin outfitting the luxurious, designer-inspired interiors.

The ship was blessed by the shipyard’s chaplain, Father Stefano, in a low-key ceremony in deference to the recent passing of General Claudio Graziano, Chairman of Fincantieri. Allura’s shipyard Madrina, Caterina Romeo, a designer in Fincantieri’s technical department, christened the ship as is traditional, endowing blessings upon the vessel and all who embark upon her.

“Our hearts and minds are with the entire team at Fincantieri as they mourn the passing of General Graziano,” stated Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises.

“The float out is an important moment for all at Oceania Cruises and Fincantieri, as we progress closer to Allura joining our family. Now that we have completed her shell, we are excited to get started on her interior. We have lots of exciting enhancements on Allura, our eighth vessel, further elevating our offerings and firmly cementing Oceania Cruises as the only ultra-premium cruise brand.”

Allura is striding quickly towards her debut and is now entering the final stages of construction focusing on her opulent suites, sophisticated lounges, and exceptional restaurants, all embodying Oceania Cruises’ commitment to culinary excellence and destination immersion. Allura promises to be a masterpiece of refined design and innovative offerings, setting new standards in the cruise industry.

Allura will officially enter service from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025, cruising six days to Athens, Greece, calling at gems in the Eastern Mediterranean including Rijeka, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Kotor, Montenegro. (NYSE: NCLH) (the “Company”), a leading global cruise company which operates the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands, recently published its 2023 “Sail & Sustain” Report, which details the Company’s progress in its global sustainability programme, emphasising the Company’s dedication to driving positive environmental and societal impact. This effort is a cornerstone of the recently unveiled “Charting the Course” strategy, guiding the Company’s mission for guests to “Vacation Better, Experience More.”

“Sustainability is at the core of our ‘Charting the Course’ strategy, which is built on four key pillars: people, product, platform, and performance, all deeply rooted in the foundation of our Sail & Sustain programme. We understand that the success of our business is inextricably linked to the health of our planet and communities, and that’s why we are dedicated to holistically integrating sustainability into our business strategy,” said Harry Sommer, President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. “Our commitment to sustainability drives us to maintain high standards of operational excellence, achieve results responsibly, and create lasting value for our business and stakeholders.”

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has received recognitions for its advancements through the “Sail & Sustain” programme, earning accolades such as the ESG Leader Gold Award at the 2024 ESG Shipping Awards, as well as being listed in Forbes’s Best Employer Lists in 2023 and 2024.

Key highlights from the 2023 Report under each pillar:

Reducing Environmental Impact:

Active Steps Toward Climate Action: In 2023, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings introduced short- and near-term GHG intensity reduction targets to guide its path toward net zero by 2050. The net zero ambition applies to shipboard and shoreside operations (Scopes 1 & 2) and the value chain (Scope 3) including supply chain, well-to-wake fuel emissions, business travel, and more. Short- and near-term targets include reducing GHG intensity[1] by 10% by 2026 and 25% by 2030, compared with a 2019 baseline.

Expanding Shore Power Capabilities: By the end of 2023, the Company achieved its 2024 target of equipping 50% of the fleet with shore power technology and remains on track to equip ~70% by 2025.

Exploring Alternative Fuels: In 2023, we achieved our goal to test 20% of the fleet with a biodiesel blend by expanding tests to four ships throughout the year. Our new target is for 40% of the fleet to test biodiesel by 2024.

Boosting Onboard Water Production: In 2023, the Company consumed ~7.6 million cubic meters of fresh water on board, with ~89% produced on board through evaporators and reverse osmosis plants, reducing the need to bunker fresh water. The target is to reduce bunkering by 4% by 2025, compared with 2019.

Improving Waste Management: The Company is committed to reducing onboard waste, successfully recycling, incinerating, or donating ~48% of total ship waste in 2023 through innovative technologies, staff training, and stringent recycling programmes.

Enhancing Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting: Annually, the Company’s Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions are measured, estimated, and independently verified. Since 2019, emissions data and other climate-related information have been disclosed to the CDP, with the most recent submission earning a climate change score of “B,” higher than the Marine Transport Sector, North America, and global averages.

Sourcing Responsibly: In 2023, supplier diversity efforts allowed more than $635 million to be spent with small businesses and businesses with minority, veteran, or economically disadvantaged qualifications.

Sailing Safely:

Strengthening Health and Safety Oversight: The Health Safety Environment & Security Committee oversees the implementation of established standards for safe ship operations, pollution prevention, and security.

Maintaining Robust Public Health Protocols: Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings operates a comprehensive public health programme with a 24/7/365 compliance culture, including external and internal public health professionals who regularly visit each ship.

Providing Excellent Medical Care: Each ship is equipped with a state-of-the-art medical center staffed by highly qualified doctors and nurses, providing high-quality care for guests and crew.

Strengthening Our Communities:

Committing to Charitable Giving: In 2023, the Company gave nearly $1.6 million in cash, cruise, and other in-kind donations to various causes. This includes significant contributions to disaster relief efforts, such as for the wildfires in Maui, and support for local communities.

Recognising Educators through the Giving Joy Programme: Norwegian Cruise Line’s Giving Joy Programme honored 20 educators with a free weeklong cruise for their dedication to education and expanded the programme to provide discounts and onboard credits for teachers.

Supporting Military Families: The Norwegian Military Appreciation Programme extends exclusive cruise fare discounts to military members, veterans, and their spouses, with over 220,000 registered since the programme’s launch in 2022.

Supporting Renewable Energy Projects: We successfully purchased 3 million carbon offsets, contributing to 16 projects globally. The offsets not only support our decarbonisation journey but invest in cleaner energy sources and local job creation in these communities.

Empowering People:

Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: The Company launched a Corporate Leadership Diversity Initiative to reinforce inclusive hiring practices. In 2023, of the new hires and promotions in shoreside positions, 51% and 62%, respectively, were women. Additionally, the Company supports five Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs) to connect and support employees.

Enhancing Employee Benefits: Benefits include fully paid maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, and family planning assistance for full-time U.S. shoreside team members. In 2023, the Company’s team member cruise benefit programme was revamped to include new deeply discounted rates at Norwegian Cruise Line and interline rates at Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Operating with Integrity and Accountability:

Maintaining Diverse Board Composition: 50% of the Board of Directors’ seats are held by women and/or underrepresented minorities.

Upholding Ethical Conduct: Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings emphasises conducting business legally and ethically, requiring all team members, executives, and directors to adhere to the Code of Ethical Business Conduct at all times.

[1] GHG intensity is measured by MTCO2e on a per Capacity Day basis. The short- and near-term targets cover the Company’s emissions from its fleet of ships, islands and facilities (Scopes 1 & 2) as well as upstream fuel- and energy-related activities, including well-to-tank emissions (portion of Scope 3). Capacity Days is defined as berths available for sale multiplied by the number of cruise days for the period for ships in service.

Expanded Relaxed Dining Options in the Spotlight Across the Line’s Eight Ultra-Premium Ships

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, has revealed the next chapter in its culinary story as it highlights new Relaxed Yet Refined dining venues aboard its eight small, luxurious ships.

New sushi and Indian cuisine offerings at Terrace Café and a revamped poolside lunch menu at Waves Grill are in the spotlight as the line redefines The Finest Cuisine at Sea.

Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises, commented: “Food is the foundation of what we do on board each of our ships, and globally, in the destinations we visit. We are renowned for serving The Finest Cuisine at Sea, as it is at the very core of our business.

“This does not always mean a white linen tablecloth and starched napkins at one of our award-winning specialty restaurants – finest does not always mean the fanciest. It’s also a perfectly prepared pizza or an enticing burrata dish enjoyed al fresco with a crisp glass of white wine as you set sail.”

Bernhard Klotz, Vice President of Food and Beverage, added: “Beauty lies in the simplicity of how we create The Finest Cuisine at Sea; the perfect combination of the most innovative culinary team, the freshest ingredients, and the best food-centric ships, this is where the magic lies.

“Food brings people together, food brings joy; we are here to ensure that every bite of every meal makes our guests smile – from a decadent ice cream sundae by the pool to an exquisite soufflé – The Finest Cuisine at Sea is everywhere on board our ships.”

With the addition of a daily sushi station as well as an Indian Corner in Terrace Café, the venue’s impressive array of international cuisines expands even further. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Terrace Café is the center of the line’s relaxed dining options.

The expansive sushi station boasts 45 brand-new recipes, created by Oceania Cruises’ newly appointed Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alex Quaretti and Eric Barale, along with their talented team. These include two types of sashimi per day, two types of uramaki, three kinds of nigiri, and a daily vegetarian option.

The new Indian Corner operates once every cruise during dinner service and features 15 authentic Indian recipes.

“Our staff hails from every corner of the globe and being able to bring their knowledge and their experience to the table, literally, is a wonderful thing,” said Chef Alex. “Creating the new Indian dishes for Terrace Café is a perfect example of this; some of these recipes have been handed down through generations. It’s a privilege to be able to see them through a new lens and to bring them to new audiences. The butter chicken and the dhal are already proving to be popular choices with our guests.”

Waves Grill, Oceania Cruises’ poolside relaxed lunch venue, allows guests to experience the acclaimed culinary reputation of the cruise line without leaving their lounge chairs if they so wish. The menu has been revamped offering new favourites to sample alongside well-loved signature dishes, which have become the venue’s hallmark.

The menu now features more than 20 revised options, including a new selection of cold sandwiches, plus hot sandwiches and burgers. These include the signature Surf & Turf Wagyu burger; a wagyu beef patty with lobster medallions and truffle mayonnaise; and a new Philly Cheesesteak hot sandwich comprising shredded sirloin steak, provolone, sautéed onion, bell peppers and mushrooms. All are now served with a choice of French fries or sweet potato fries.

“At each of our relaxed yet refined venues, our guests can still savour the ritual and theatre of a dining experience. You can linger, relax, and enjoy. Guests are not rushed through, these are absolutely not “fast” food options; it’s simply a different ambiance and setting,” explained Chef Alex.

Not to overlook the line’s award-winning specialty restaurants, Chefs Alex and Eric and their team have more surprises to share before the end of the year as they take a thorough review of all menus across all ships.

Chef Alex said: “We have so much going on ahead of the launch of Allura in just over a year. But there are exciting plans afoot for all our ships. We have new dishes to unveil in Red Ginger, our signature pan-Asian venue; there will be an expansion of Oceania Cruises’ exclusive wine pairing luncheon options; and a fresh look at the menus for the grande dame of the line’s dining venues, The Grand Dining Room.”

Additional information

Marina and her sister, Riviera, were the very first true foodie ships in the world, joined now by Vista in 2023, and Allura in 2025, and were the first ships ever to have an onboard cooking school. They have more galley space and more fresh food storage than any other ship, and they were built around the galleys in the shipyard.

Oceania Cruises has the highest percentage of culinary personnel devoted to the dining experience than any other cruise company. To ensure the impeccable quality of each dish, the line has one chef for every ten guests; half of the crew on board is dedicated to the cooking or serving of food.

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, today announced its newest ship Allura will enter service one week earlier than scheduled. Due to join the fleet in summer 2025, her inaugural sailing will now depart Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025, cruising six days to Athens, Greece, calling at gems in the Eastern Mediterranean including Rijeka, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Kotor, Montenegro. The line is also opening for sale a one-of-a-kind four-day voyage sailing roundtrip from New York City in September 2025.

For guests booked on the original inaugural voyage departing July 24, 2025, Oceania Cruises has offered first access to booking the new maiden sailing before it went on public sale.

Following her summer season in the Mediterranean, Allura will sail to Canada and New England for a series of immersive voyages in North America before her premiere winter season in the Caribbean, homeporting in Miami. For new-to-brand travellers who are curious to sample an ultra-premium vacation experience, the line has introduced a four-day “Taste of Oceania Cruises” roundtrip sailing from New York September 30-October 4, 2025.

“Thanks to the progress made by our valued partners at Fincantieri, we are thrilled to bring Allura into service a week earlier than planned,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President, Oceania Cruises. “I’m excited to be able to present Allura on a one-time taster voyage to showcase the ship to aspirational travellers who are looking to sample an ultra-premium cruise experience, and even better, sailing from downtown Manhattan, the heart of New York City.”

Oceania Cruises’ newly appointed Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, are working with the line’s talented team to take a fresh look at menus across all venues on board Allura, with a special focus on designing an array of delectable treats for the new Crêperie – a first for the brand.

“Oceania Cruises is a cruise line founded by foodies, for foodies, and food is at the heart of everything we do,” said Chef Alex. “The team and I are busy testing and tasting a wonderful array of waffles and crêpes, which will be enjoyed by our guests next year aboard Allura. Our guests will be able to customize their waffles and crêpes, which will all be made to order, to be perfectly personalized.

“We have lots of exciting culinary developments underway for Allura, including more than 300 new recipes in active development for The Grand Dining Room, across all three meal services. I am excited to reveal more in the coming months.”

Allura is the eighth vessel for Oceania Cruises and is the line’s second 1,200-guest Allura Class ship. She follows her sister ship, Vista, which launched to great global acclaim in May 2023.

Allura highlights include:
• A new onboard Crêperie, serving freshly made-to-order crêpes and waffles, as well as sundaes in the afternoon.
• A luxurious new library, featuring walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, oversized chairs, and plush residential furnishings, continues the tradition of Oceania Cruises’ beloved libraries and is just steps away from LYNC Digital Center, the ship’s digital and social hub, as well as ever-popular Horizons.
• One chef for every 10 guests, ensuring 50% of crew members are dedicated to culinary experiences.
• Five specialty dining venues, including the line’s newest signature restaurants, Ember and Aquamar Kitchen, at no extra cost.
• 1,200 guests served by 800 crew members = two crew members for every three guests.
• The most spacious standard staterooms at sea, at an astounding 291 square feet.
• Hundreds of immersive shore excursions and tours to choose from on each sailing.
• Onboard enrichment, including art classes at Oceania Cruises’ much-loved Artist Loft, numerous guest speakers and sommelier demonstrations during exclusive Sommelier’s Choice and Cellar Master’s Classic Wine Pairing Luncheons.
• An expansive Culinary Center and accompanying Chef’s Studio, where epicurean secrets will be shared by the talented onboard Chef Instructors.

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination- focused cruise line, has announced it will host its first annual ‘Culinary Masters’ Cruise’ aboard Marina in October 2024. The ultimate cruise for food lovers, this exclusive sailing will be hosted by Oceania Cruises’ two Master Chefs of France, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, and offers the perfect opportunity to learn, to taste, and be immersed in the culinary arts.

The 1,250-guest ship will sail from Valletta, Malta, to Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, on October 16, 2024, calling at ports in Croatia, Greece and Italy, giving guests the chance to explore local cuisines ashore as well as on board.

“Oceania Cruises is a cruise line built by foodies, run by foodies, for foodies,” commented Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “Since our launch 20 years ago, we have put food at the heart of everything we do, so hosting our first-ever Culinary Masters’ Cruise is a natural evolution for us. This special sailing gives us the chance to show our immense pride in being the only cruise line to have two of

its chefs inducted into the prestigious echelons of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and the opportunity to share their wisdom, creative talent and fantastic culinary connections with our guests.”

Marina and her sister Riviera were the very first true foodie ships in the world and are now joined by Vista, which was launched to global acclaim in May this year, and Allura, set to join the fleet in spring 2025. Marina and Riviera have more galley space and more fresh food storage than any other ship, and Oceania Cruises has the highest percentage of culinary personnel devoted to the dining experience than any other cruise company. To ensure the impeccable quality of each dish, the line has one chef for every ten guests; half of the crew on board is dedicated to the cooking or serving of food.

Marina, and her sister ship Riviera, were also the first ships ever to have an onboard cooking school. Due to the immense success of the onboard Culinary Centers, the line has doubled the space of this on board its newest ships, Vista and Allura.

The first Culinary Masters’ Cruise is designed so guests can immerse themselves in true foodie heaven, whilst learning about Oceania Cruises’ gourmet heritage and future from the talented culinary team. There will be the opportunity to hear expert insights in onstage panel discussions and enjoy live cooking demonstrations from Chef Alex, Oceania Cruises’ Senior Culinary Director, and Chef Eric, Vice President of Culinary, and their special guests.

All guests will be invited to attend Oceania Cruises’ legendary signature gala seafood brunch, usually only reserved for ship launches, and enjoy themed Chef’s Market Dinners in The Terrace Café, which will use ingredients bought from local markets by the onboard culinary team, inspired by the destinations visited.

Plus, there will be the chance to purchase bespoke experiences available only aboard this sailing; including culinary tours in local ports and hand-on cooking classes, led by Oceania Cruises’ esteemed culinary team; expert-led wine tastings on board; or an exclusive private dinner event.

“Oceania Cruises is already a proven leader in the culinary field, and we are excited to expand our already astounding offering with this exclusive cruise, which focuses on some of the finest destinations and cuisines in the world, to make this the ultimate cruise for food lovers,” commented Chef Alex.

The itinerary of the Culinary Masters’ Cruise is as tantalising as the cuisine which will be served on board. Sailing from Valletta, Malta’s historic capital, which has myriad international connections through London, Frankfurt, Munich and Paris among others, Marina will have a day at sea before launching into a spectacular menu of Mediterranean and Adriatic ports of call: beautiful Kotor, Montenegro; Croatian gems Dubrovnik and Split; charming Bari, Italy; the Greek ports of Corfu and Katakolon; and then onto Italy, for the final day in foodie-heaven Naples, before finishing Rome (Civitavecchia).

Oceania Cruises offers travellers simply MORE, with virtually everything included in the voyage fare: free roundtrip airfare; free airport transfers; a generous shore excursion credit of $800 per stateroom to be spent on tours of their choice; and a comprehensive beverage package available during lunch and dinner

at onboard restaurants featuring dozens of vintage Champagnes, premium wines and international beers. Created to elevate the guest experience, simply MORE means travellers receive the greatest value in luxury cruising.

Chef Alexis Quaretti, Oceania Cruises’ Senior Culinary Director, was inducted into Maîtres Cuisiniers de France in May 2023. He joined Oceania Cruises’ Vice President of Culinary Eric Barale, who served as Quaretti’s godfather into the program.

The association of Master Chefs of France was established in 1951. Its goal is to support and promote French culinary arts around the world. This mission is embodied by the chef members, as they are ambassadors of French cuisine and culture and are responsible for relaying this heritage to their apprentices.

Three New Culinary Venues to Be Added: Wellness-Focused Aquamar Kitchen; a Relaxed Al Fresco Pizzeria and an All-Day Ice Cream Parlor

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, announced that its 1,250-passenger ship, Marina, will undergo an all-encompassing refurbishment in May 2024. The refurbishment will include the addition three new dining options: Aquamar Kitchen, the new wellness-focused dining venue which debuted on Vista this year; an expanded poolside ice cream parlour serving milkshakes and smoothies, plus inventive flavours from artisan ice cream company Humphry Slocombe; and a new casual al fresco trattoria offering sumptuous Italian dishes, including freshly made pizzas.

Marina is the last of Oceania Cruises’ current fleet to be refurbished and means that the line boasts eight new, or better-than-new, ships. Its eighth ship, Allura, is set to launch in Spring 2025.

“Marina is a ship designed by foodies, built by foodies, for foodies,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “We are renowned for serving The Finest Cuisine at Sea, and this is not just a tagline, it is a mantra which we have built the business around. Food is the foundation of what we do onboard each of our ships, and globally, in the destinations we visit.

“This refresh of Marina will see her updated to offer three exciting new dining venues. We are especially thrilled to expand the Aquamar Kitchen concept to Marina, following its incredible reception from guests since it was unveiled aboard Vista in May.”

Marina and her sister Riviera were the very first true foodie ships in the world and are now joined by Vista and Allura. Marina and Riviera were the first ships ever to have an onboard cooking school and have more galley space and more fresh food storage than any other ship. Oceania Cruises has the highest percentage of culinary personnel devoted to the dining experience than any other cruise company. To ensure the impeccable quality of each dish, the line has one chef for every ten guests; half of the crew onboard is dedicated to the cooking or serving of food.

One of the exciting culinary additions to Marina will be Aquamar Kitchen, a new Oceania Cruises signature restaurant which presents wellness-inspired menus, with a hint of indulgence, sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate. At breakfast, the smoothies, cold-pressed juices and energy bowls shine, while at lunch the avocado toast selections and globally inspired salads and wraps are incredibly flavourful and satisfying. Heartier options include an Impossible burger, yellowfin tuna tacos and a crunchy chicken sandwich among several others.

To reflect the wellness-inspired dishes, the beverage menu will feature a selection of premium, award-winning non-alcoholic wines, Pierre Zero from France as well as a refreshing collection of mocktails crafted with Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits. Aquamar Kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch and does not require reservations, and as with all other onboard restaurants, is complimentary for guests.

In the evening, Waves Grill will transform into an al fresco trattoria featuring freshly made pizzas, succulently grilled Italian specialties, spicy dry-rubbed chicken wings, tantalizing salads, rosemary focaccia with lush burrata and indulgent desserts.

For guests with a sweet tooth, an all-day ice cream parlour will be added to the pool deck. Filled with favourite flavours, including options from Humphry Slocombe, plus milkshakes and smoothies, it is sure to entice guests for an afternoon poolside treat.

With the addition of Aquamar Kitchen, Oceania Cruises’ signature pairing dinners featured in La Reserve will be showcased in Privée, Marina’s exclusive private dining space. This intimate venue will host culinary aficionados for long-standing favourite pairing menus of La Reserve, including the Odyssey Menu and the Dom Pérignon Experience.

In addition to the three new dining options, Marina’s private and public spaces will be refreshed to showcase a radiant new ambiance. All upper suites will be reimagined with a revamped look, to become lighter, brighter, and seemingly even more spacious thanks to cleverly designed new features. Classic steakhouse Polo Grill will also be enhanced with new carpet, stylish window treatments and a fresh design of the dining chairs.

The Penthouse Suites will be completely refurbished with custom-crafted furniture as well as new closets and cabinetry to increase guest storage space, plus new carpets, and upholstery, updated modern lighting and thoughtful details such as more outlets and USB ports. Each Penthouse Suite will have a sleek restyled bathroom, with distinctive Italian marble throughout, abundant drawer space, and generous over-sized showers, offering the elegant residential luxury for which Oceania Cruises is renowned.

Favourite public spaces including Martinis, Horizons, The Grand Dining Room, and Library will be elegantly updated with plush new carpets and refreshed upholstery, reflecting a renewed sense of grandeur while maintaining the home-away-from-home ambiance.

The refurbished ship will debut on May 18, 2024, and while the ship will undergo significant cosmetic changes, rest assured that one aspect will remain constant and unchanged: Oceania Cruises’ trademark warm and personalized service. Whether guests are sailing for the first time or the fifteenth, they will note the ease with which the staff remembers their names and their preferences along with the genuine smiles and enthusiasm that can only come from the heart.

Riviera: The Most Elegant Way to Explore America’s Largest State, with Destination-Rich Itineraries Brimming with Unique Culinary Experiences and Immersive Shore Excursions

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, announced the recently re-inspired and better-than-new 1,250-guest Riviera will sail her first season in Alaska in summer 2025. Riviera will offer travellers the most inspiring way to explore some of the world’s most breathtaking locales across America’s largest state, putting immersion in local communities and culinary excellence at the heart of the travel experience.

Offering the largest standard staterooms at sea and home-away-from-home residential-style luxury, Riviera will venture into iconic Alaska ports of call including Ketchikan, Sitka, Kodiak, and the Hubbard Glacier, sailing itineraries ranging from seven to 12 days. Travellers will have even more opportunities to discover Alaska’s natural wonders and unique local culture with nearly 300 excursion choices in Alaska and the brand’s value promise simply MORE, which includes a generous shore excursion credit of up to $1,600, in addition to a number of other valuable inclusions –free Champagne, wine and more: free gourmet specialty dining and free unlimited WiFi – for the best value in luxury cruising.

“The decision to elevate our presence in the Alaska region was easy,” commented Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “This fascinating destination has always been a firm favourite with our well-travelled guests, who are constantly wanting to explore remote, wondrous, and truly off-the-beaten-track destinations. Sailing on board Riviera is the ultimate way to explore this rugged state, while enjoying her distinctive residential luxury, The Finest Cuisine at Sea® and expertly curated travel experiences.”

Stunningly re-inspired in 2022, Riviera offers unparalleled experiences to curious world travellers. Her incredibly spacious standard staterooms measure an astonishing 291 square feet and all categories of staterooms have been beautifully reimagined with luxurious furnishings, thoughtful design touches and expanded showers. With 800 officers and crew for 1,250 guests, service levels are second to none and guests notice the welcoming ambiance at every turn.

Boasting one chef for every 10 guests, travellers can savour sumptuous dishes at seven open-seating gourmet restaurants as they marvel at Alaska’s incredible scenery and seascapes. Whether you choose from an array of international and Continental dishes at The Grand Dining Room, the ultimate steakhouse experience at Polo Grill, bold Pan-Asian fare at Red Ginger, masterfully prepared Italian dishes at Toscana, embraceable French cuisine at Jacques, hallmark Chef’s Market Dinners and ever-changing menus at Terrace Café or hand-tossed pizzas at the new alfresco pizzeria at Waves Grill, every meal aboard Riviera becomes a memorable culinary experience.

Ultimate Alaska: Experiences Ashore
Riviera’s Alaska cruises bring breath-taking wildlife encounters, stunning views and so much more. From Hubbard Glacier – one of about 100,000 glaciers in Alaska – to Dutch Harbour, the town that technically doesn’t exist, America’s largest state always has a surprise around the corner.

In fact, many may not think of Alaska as a top culinary destination, but among the nearly 300 shore excursions on offer are Oceania Cruises’ brand new series of Culinary Discovery Tours designed for Riviera’s 2025 season, which spotlights Alaska’s unique and thriving food scenes. Offered in Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka, the immersive chef-led tours take travellers on epicurean adventures ranging from craft beer flight tastings paired with dishes highlighting freshly foraged ingredients to visiting a sustainable oyster farm followed by a hands-on seafood-centric cooking class.

Additional explorations might find guests accompanying a Native Tlingit guide for an enlightening discovery of Ketchikan, observing local artisans and learning about tribal history at the only remaining village of the Chilkat people while in Haines, or venturing into Skagway’s free-wheeling gold-rush past to explore local saloons, gravesites and a microbrewery.

Travelers can also discover the natural wonders of the awe-inspiring Tongass National Forest, the largest temperate rainforest in the world, famed for its astounding array of mountains, fjords and glaciers or experience the untouched, wildlife-rich surroundings of Klawock, a town of less than 1,000 residents located on the west coast of Prince of Wales Island. Guests can further enhance their Alaska journey with a multi-day Denali National Park experience on one of Oceania Cruises’ pre- and post-cruise Alaska Land Programs.

49th State Wonders: Onboard Enrichment
The immersion into the wonders of Alaska continues on board. Each sailing features a naturalist on board who offers insightful bridge commentary in addition to a series of guest speaker-style talks that delves into Alaska’s incredible biodiversity – covering everything from the unique whales, bears and seals guests may see to the fascinating plant life and local culture. For guests who travel with children, the Alaska Explorer Youth Program offers the opportunity for everyone to experience the excitement of exploring the Northwest Coast and Alaska in a meaningful, enriching way. Designed for children between 5 and 12 years of age, the program is supervised by experienced and enthusiastic youth counsellors and includes engaging games, activities and Alaska-inspired special events.

Guests will also have the opportunity to learn the secrets behind much-loved Alaska and Pacific Northwest regional specialties if they wish – multiple hands-on cooking classes at Riviera’s state-of-the-art Culinary Center will be offered during each sailing.
