Dine out and be rewarded in Stellenbosch with the relaunch of Stellenbucks

  • The 2023 Stellenbucks campaign rewards visitors for dining out and invites exploration of the diverse culinary delights of the winelands town
  • New culinary masterclasses, restaurants, wine bars, and seasonal menus and events position the town for an ‘always open’ winter

 

Visit Stellenbosch, the official destination marketing organisation for the town of Stellenbosch, is excited to announce the 2023 relaunch of the popular Stellenbucks Restaurant Rewards Campaign.


This campaign invites South African travellers and Cape Town residents to savour the diverse culinary cornucopia of the Winelands town while being rewarded for dining out. Alongside the usual seasonal experiences, Stellenbosch showcases a lineup of new restaurants, wine bars, culinary masterclasses, and seasonal menus for the winter season.

The Stellenbucks Restaurant Rewards Campaign invites visitors to dine at any participating restaurant, spend a minimum of R300 through SnapScan, and collect Stellenbucks to the value of 30% of the bill!

The maximum voucher value per transaction is R250. The voucher (aka Stellenbucks) can be redeemed via SnapScan Wallet at any participating restaurant in town or at wineries within the campaign period.

Jeanneret Momberg, CEO of Visit Stellenbosch, is excited about the launch of the campaign, stating, “The Stellenbucks Restaurant Rewards Campaign celebrates the culinary richness of Stellenbosch and invites our visitors to savour the town’s diverse gastronomic offerings – from fine dining restaurants and casual eateries to wine bars – while discovering the charms of wintering in our warmhearted town.”

“Stellenbucks is not just a meal on us; it’s a rewarding experience that lets you earn bucks while savouring delectable dishes at some of the finest eateries in town all while feeding the restaurant economy.”

“Begin your Stellenbucks journey with a delicious breakfast at DeWarenmarkt, Meraki, Basic Bistro or the Deli at Lanzerac, where you can earn Stellenbucks while enjoying their mouthwatering offerings. The excitement doesn’t stop there! For lunch, sit down for the culinary delights of Genki, Hussar Grill, Weltevreden 1692 or Spek en Bone, where you’ll not only enjoy a sumptuous meal but also rack up more Stellenbucks to treat yourself later. Hungry for more? Look no further than Post and Pepper, The Fat Butcher, Cavalli Estate or Rust en Vrede Restaurant to name a few. They eagerly await your dinner reservation and are more than willing to accept your well-earned Stellenbucks as payment, making it an extraordinary dining experience that won’t leave a dent in your wallet. And this is just the tip of the dining iceberg as there are more than 35 restaurants, eateries and wine bars where you can earn or spend Stellenbucks.”
