FLIGHT CENTRE RESPONDS TO CUSTOMER NEEDS WITH AN EXCLUSIVE OFFERING

JOHANNESBURG, 24 AUGUST 2023 – Flight Centre is now offering customers a new pack of selected travel goodies when they book flights, accommodation or holiday packages.

Flight Centre General Manager Antoinette Turner said the new “Captain’s Pack” has been put together with customer desire in mind.

“We’ve looked at our data and customer feedback globally over the last four years and come back with a value pack based on current customer needs,” says Turner.

“The Captain’s Pack contains many items that are essential to hassle-free travelling that offer peace of mind, such as lost baggage tracking and cover, a travel insurance upgrade, and a cancellation fee waiver.

“We’re particularly proud to offer a Family Bonus that allows kids accompanying an adult with a Captain’s Pack to share its benefits at no extra cost.”

“The items bundled together in the Captain’s Pack offer our customers great value because each item would be more expensive if they purchased them separately,” Turner said.

“The Captain’s Pack is exclusive to Flight Centre. No other travel agency offers anything quite like it. We see it as a duty-of-care offering to customers that reflects the changing needs of travellers.”

The Captain’s Pack ranges from between R150 and R350 and went on sale on 22 August 2023. You can purchase the Captain’s Pack when confirming travel at your nearest Flight Centre store.

Meanwhile, Flight Centre has partnered with Reforest Australia to assist with reforestation projects globally and each time a customer buys a Captain’s Pack Flight Centre will plant a number of trees on their behalf as part of our reforestation partnership.

“Our first goal is to plant one million trees in the first year,” Turner said.
