SATIB launches Guesthouse Insure

SATIB, a specialist insurance broker in the travel and tourism industry and licenced FSP, today announced the launch of a new, bespoke suite of guesthouse insurance products.

SATIB Guesthouse Insure offers a comprehensive choice of guesthouse policies sourced from leading Insurers – including SATIB U-Host, a niche insurance solution available exclusively to SATIB clients.

Developed following thorough research and stakeholder consultation, U-Host refines and improves upon standard commercial insurance and is tailored to the specific needs of guesthouses. The product eliminates unnecessary insurance costs during these challenging COVID times and delivers cover where it counts.

Dewald Cillie, SATIB Executive Head, explains:

“Guesthouses have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. But in addition to financial concerns, they also have unique risks. SATIB has worked hard to develop incomparable cover for the sector. Our suite of products allows guesthouses to select the right cover for their needs, including our new U-Host Cover which allows clients to cut back on unnecessary insurance costs, while still ensuring they are adequately covered for a wide range of eventualities. Make sure you are insured against a range of risks, including theft of contents by guests, bilking, fraudulent credit cards, accidental damage, burst geysers, machinery breakdown, general public liability and business all risks.”

SATIB Guesthouse Insure includes:

  • Broader cover in key areas
  • New cover/inclusions never offered before (without loading your monthly premium)
  • Higher limits where necessary
  • Clear, easy-to-understand terms (what’s covered and what’s not)
  • Competitive pricing
  • The peace-of-mind of SATIB24 Crisis Call

“Each guesthouse is unique,” says Cillie, “With different offerings and facilities. That is why it’s important to speak to a specialist tourism broker, like SATIB, who can secure a package to meet your specific needs.”

SATIB Guesthouse Insure also includes SATIB24 Crisis Call, a 24/7 Operations Centre providing a coordinated and integrated network of emergency medical, security and incident management specialists who can respond to any crisis quickly and effectively.

“When there is an emergency medical incident, accident, natural disaster or robbery, it’s important to have a direct line to doctors, nurses and security professionals,” says Cillie. “SATIB24 is available to all SATIB clients, meaning you have access to immediate help when you need it the most.”
