Just how many picnic spots are there along South Africa’s Garden Route?

In Toto Retreat reveals 28 romantic picnic spots along the Western Cape’s famous Garden Route

03 February 2023 – In Toto Retreat, a new upmarket guesthouse on the shores of the Swartvlei Lagoon in Sedgefield, is excited to announce the launch of a new social media campaign, Romancing the Garden Route, for February.

During month of love, In Toto will regularly reveal beautiful picnic spots on the Garden Route on its Facebook page and Instagram account. Through a fun interactive quiz on https://intotoretreat.co.za/romancing-the-garden-route/, couples can also find out what type of traveller they are and what experiences they’ll enjoy most on the picturesque Garden Route. For every kind of traveller, there is the perfect experience – and the perfect picnic spot.

“We have identified 28 uniquely romantic picnic spots on the Garden Route for every type of traveller. Whether you’d like to brave the skies on a paragliding adventure, hike through the forest, mingle with locals at craft and food markets, or relax on a pristine beach, we guarantee that there’s the perfect spot – or Garden Route adventure – just for you,” says Roland Vorwerk, owner of In Toto Retreat.

Simply by participating in the quiz, couples stand a chance to win a two-night stay for two at In Toto Retreat. The prize includes accommodation and breakfast in either the Swartvlei, Goliath Heron or Seahorse Suites, as well as a picnic basket for two with a selection of local produce, including cheeses, olives, salads and cold meats.

For those who are looking for a romantic getaway during the month of February, In Toto Retreat has launched a special price of R3 950 for a two-night stay for two. This special includes all the same benefits as the quiz prize.

“There are so many beautiful parts of the Garden Route to explore. We hope that the romantic picnic spots that we have identified inspire couples to reconnect whilst enjoying their retreat with us,” says Vorwerk.
