Proflight Zambia has officially launched Safari Season 2025 with the announcement of schedules for travellers on its Mfuwe, Lower Zambezi and Livingstone routes. The Safari Schedules are officially available for purchase on Proflight’s website, VRS, and the Global Distribution System (GDS).
The Proflight 2025 Safari Schedules showcase three stunning destinations in Zambia: Mfuwe, Livingstone, and Lower Zambezi. With breathtaking wildlife and landscapes awaiting adventurous travellers, these safari experiences are in high demand. “We encourage everyone to explore our flight options and safari packages to find the perfect fit for their schedules and preferred lodges,” said Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations Captain Josias Walubita.
“However, it’s crucial to book as early as possible to secure your desired dates and avoid missing out. Multi-generational and family groups are increasingly seeking unforgettable safari adventures in Zambia, so availability fills up quickly.” By reserving well in advance, travellers can ensure they don’t face disappointment and have the opportunity to create cherished memories in Zambia’s remarkable natural settings.
Proflight Zambia operates flights to various airstrips near these national parks and reserves, providing convenient access for safari-goers. These flights are typically scheduled to coincide with the safari itineraries, ensuring seamless transportation to and from the chosen destinations.
Mfuwe, located in the Eastern Province of Zambia, serves as the gateway to the renowned South Luangwa National Park. This pristine wilderness sanctuary is famous for its abundant wildlife, including large populations of elephants, hippos, and various big cat species.
Home to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Livingstone offers visitors many thrilling experiences, from heart-pounding bungee jumps to serene sunset cruises.
And, from luxury lodges to rustic bush camps, Lower Zambezi offers a range of accommodation options in the Lower Zambezi region.
The Chunga schedule will be released by August as it is still subject to changes based on the route’s performance in 2024. Chunga is operated similarly to Lower Zambezi, where flights with zero passengers booked 45 days out are cancelled.
Proflight has also announced several improvements in its interline partnerships and online check-in services that will help customers when booking these flights.
Travellers can now take advantage of South African Airways’ online check-in services for tickets where Proflight is the first flight on the itinerary. And, although Proflight passengers can’t check in online using the Emirates (EK) websites yet, they can use the EK online bookings manager to pre-select seats.
“We understand the importance of convenience for our passengers, and we are working closely with our partners to enhance our services,” added Walubita. “We are excited to offer enhanced convenience to our valued customers, allowing them to enjoy a hassle-free journey from start to finish.”
